Dr Rubina Lal expert, researcher, special educator and senior Professor of the Department of Special Education of SNDT Women's College Mumbai elaborates on various aspects of intellectual impairment, definition, degrees, causes, statistics, employ-ability, elucidates general misconceptions about persons with intellectual impairment prevalent in the minds of the non disabled population. Very interesting and frank discussion from an advocacy point of view.

We would be listening to a telephonic interview of Ms Priti Rohra who Heads the Accessibility Testing Department of Mumbai based organisation BarrierBreak Technologies founded by Ms Shilpi Kapoor. Priti answers questions pertaining to the organisation, tells about various persons with disabilities working there, to understand the accessibility products available for persons with disabilities at Barrier break and these products are tested. We also learn about web accessibility.

In this episode we talk about the effects of technology on disability. We explore the various assistive devices that are available for persons with different disabilities.
