In this episode of Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz, we are focussing on Juvenile Justice Act. Advocate Anant Kumar Asthana, a Juvenile Justice expert speaks about the laws and its objective. He told that the law was made for those children belonging to two different categories, one who get involved in crime and other who are runaway kids. He stressed that children need to be given proper care, affection and protection. He also said that government should take stern action for the proper implementation of laws. It is necessary to identify those situations that compel children to join the path of crime for example government should set up counselling centres in those areas where children hailing from poor family get involved in crimes. He said that only a percent of the youth of the country’s population are involved in crime, which is not a big number and can be administered.

Report further states that 75 out of 100 elder people live with their family but they feel unsecured, abused and neglected. 

With increasing age, children become busy in their life and forget the days when they were child. They kept the need of their childrren on top to make their life easier. But now when they need suppport from us, they are left alone and don't get adequate respect from their children and grand children.
