It is said that whenever good things come in our lives it also brings along some bad elements. Every sunrise is followed by a sunset and every rainfall is followed by sunshine. Yes, if we talk about internet it is considered as the ocean of knowledge but in it there are many hidden pornographic sites which affect the economic and mental status of a person.
School children are the most affected and fall prey of online sexual abuse. Different NGOs in Nepal have come together to fight against this cause. This programme also speaks of an NGO ECPAT from Thailand where it has started a campaign “Make IT safe” through out the glove

Maternal health care (Nepali)

 In this 21st Century it is seen that people tend to get so involved in their daily work that they fail to take care of their own health. The change in food habit, stress and work load plays a vital role in ones health. The youth of today which constitutes the half of the population of the globe needs special education on maternal health.

Kathmandu is well know in this world but if one move out of Kathmandu one gets to see that Nepal is facing lot of problems and one of them is Health.  Awareness on maternal health is necessary in the far flung mountainous region of Nepal where the villages are cut off from today’s world.  This radio programme informs that maternal health education is an essential knowledge for both men and women and it needs to be imparted to both in the far flung villages. In this process Rural knowledge centres and community radio can play a vital role in information dissemination.

Success of micro industries in Nepal (Nepali)

Micro Industries does make a lot of difference in the economic growth of a nation and of a individual. National Programme Director of Micro Industries in Nepal Mr. Lakshman Pun talks about Micro Industries in Nepal which has been funded by UNDP and other organizations like DFID, AusiAid and New Zealand Aid. This programme started in June 1998 as pilot project and expanded to 10 regions.
Since it was a pilot project they were optimist and worked hard and did make some modifications which showed good results in eradication of poverty through micro industries in the villages. Seeing this Government of Nepal took keen interest in expanding this programme to other regions too. He explains in details how the villagers are trained. A short play shows how this model is useful in the development of the economic condition of the individual and the country.
