This programme talks about the rights of forest dwellers. To understand the issue we have talked with Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Executive Director, Climate Parliament. He informed us about the Forest Rights Act 2006, how this act delivers the best to forest dwellers. He also urges that this act is performing well at the ground level with the participation of community people.

Provisions of Domestic Violence Act (Hindi)

The radio programme features a drama on key provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act (PWDVA), 2005. It talks about the role of District Protection Officers (DPOs) in providing relief and support to aggrieved women. Under the key provisions of the act, an aggrieved women can approach DPOs for filing Domestic Incident Report (DIR), request for short-stay homes, protection, free legal aid and medical services.

Blood Donation (Hindi)

It is a radio programme produced by Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz. The present programme talks about the benefits of blood donation. Donating blood is a safe process. It is a simple process of registration, medical history and mini-physical, donation and refreshments. Also, every blood donor is given a mini-physical, checking the donor's temperature, blood pressure, pulse and hemoglobin to ensure it is safe for the donor to give blood.  In this programme we also talks about some myths about blood donation.

Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz

Run by OneWorld since 2005, Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz or EDEA (One World, One Voice) is a radio programme on development issues in Hindi broadcast on the popular national channel, AIR FM Rainbow India 102.6 MHz. The programme focuses on sustainable development related themes and usually features interaction with distinguished people. Till date, EDEA has broadcast about 600 radio programmes.

Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz is broadcast every Wednesday from 16:30 Hours - 16:45 Hours.

Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz is a flagship programme of OneWorld Foundation India.

At Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz we receive people's feedback on our programme from more than 20 Indian states. SMS feedbacks received after broadcast of EDEA episode average between 60 to 70.
