Baant Liya Bhaagwan ko (Hindi)

This album is an effort to reverse a willful void that has come to be in the understanding of cultural protest, to reinstate a legacy in an age where words, insights and politics continue to remain relevant. There is a need to rekindle the spirit of resistance, of question and of reason towards a socially just society. The songs in this collection have been selected from various sources and include the famous flag song written in 1857 by Azimullah Khan - the song that inspired Iqbal to write Saare Jahan Se Achha.
