India which houses the largest number of hungry people in the world, should make a tough stand at the forthcoming WTO meet regarding the food security issue, exhorts Devinder Sharma, a Policy Analyst. “Ever since the world trade organisation came into being in 1995, there has never been such a serious threat to food security of the developing countries and also the livelihood of farmers in these countries,” warned Sharma.
