In the journey of Community Radio stations, the ‘Community Radio Compendium – 2016’ plays its role of an important chronicler. This edition of Compendium features profiles of 152 stations. It recognises the work of the operational Community Radio stations as they record it themselves in narratives and photographs. It is also a celebration of the strides that the sector has made in the years gone by. It is also a testimony to the vibrancy and diversity of the sector as also its potential of reaching out to the last mile. The compendium of operational Community Radio Stations provides information in summary form and is meant for quick reference and general guidance.
