He stressed on the use and dissemination of information across the globe, so that issues like climate change can be handled better. He said that India doesn’t stand anywhere in terms of Efficient use of resources and it needs to work more in the field of agriculture and other areas.

Dr. Rajiv Seth, Registrar of TERI University brings out the importance of involving young people in discussions about issues like sustainable development and how their active participation would help in bringing about the change with respect to the environment. Dr. Seth also mentioned that a large number of students from universities and other colleges will participate in the programme. This programme acts as a platform for students in sharing their views and innovative ideas that can help in furthering sustainable development in India and across the world. Sharing a few success stories on Indian youth, he said that such deliberations would help in bringing about the change across the globe.
